This Privacy Policy describes how Primal Fit by Rafael Motloch ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the Primal Fit mobile application. By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create or access an account, we may collect your email address, name, password (if registered via email), and authentication identifiers from Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. If you use a third-party sign-in, we only receive the information made available by those providers.
Health and fitness data
To provide core features, we may collect health-related information you enter manually, upload, or synchronize through supported health platforms. This may include height, weight, age, sex or gender, fitness and nutrition goals, calorie targets, meal logs, food descriptions and photographs, estimated calories and macronutrients, workout and exercise logs, activity data, step count, calories burned, and data from Apple HealthKit or Android Health Connect — all subject to the permissions you grant.
Food text and images
You may submit food information by typing meal descriptions or uploading photos. We use this to identify foods, estimate calories and nutrients, create food logs, and provide nutrition insights. Food images may be processed using AI — estimates are not medical advice.
Camera and photo library
The Application may request camera or photo library access to photograph or select meal images. We do not access these unless you grant permission, and only use them for features you request.
Health platform permissions
We may request access to Apple HealthKit, Apple Health, Google Fit, or Android Health Connect. We access this data only after explicit permission, which you can revoke at any time through your device settings. We do not use this data for advertising and do not sell it.
Usage data
We may automatically collect device type, operating system, app version, IP address, device identifiers, crash logs, diagnostic data, features used, and date/time of use.
2. How we use your information
We use collected information to manage your account and authentication; provide food logging, nutrition tracking, and fitness features; analyze food text and images; calculate personalized targets; display progress and charts; improve app performance; provide customer support; detect and address technical issues; and comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information or health data. We may share information only in limited circumstances: with service providers who help operate the Application (hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, AI food recognition); when required by law or valid government request; in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale; or with your consent for any other purpose.
4. Health data sharing restrictions
We do not sell your health data or share it with advertisers. Health data is used only for app functionality, analytics required to maintain and improve the Service, safety, security, compliance, and features you request.
5. Artificial intelligence and automated analysis
The Application may use AI or automated processing to analyze food descriptions, images, and fitness data to provide features such as food recognition, estimated nutrition information, and personalized insights. AI-generated results are estimates only and may be inaccurate. The Application does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Application, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Health and fitness data is generally retained until you delete it, delete your account, or request deletion.
7. Deleting your data
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at
developer@appscribe.io. Where available, you can also manage or delete certain information directly within the Application. We may retain limited information if required by law, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
8. Your choices and permissions
You can control data collection through your device and app settings, including camera access, photo library access, notifications, Apple Health, Android Health Connect, and Google Fit permissions. Revoking a permission may disable some features.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International data transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence. When we transfer information internationally, we take reasonable steps to protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
11. Children's privacy
The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
12. Medical disclaimer
The Application is provided for general fitness, nutrition, and wellness purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions related to your health, diet, exercise, or medical conditions.
13. Links to other websites or services
The Application may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of those third parties.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised. We may also notify you through the Application or by email where required by law.
